Somehow I still want to talk about sex in this posting. If in the previous post I mainly talked about how it feels when we finally find someone whom we completely and truly and deeply fall in love and makes us realizing the real feeling of being in heaven (or at least the closest to heaven) which we never felt before in our past relationship, then in this post I would like to talk about how it feels to be with someone we’re compatible with, of course, in bed. There are always two sides of making love. First one is the soft and soothing ones, which I have talked in the previous post. Second one is the wild, rough, and pleasurable ones, which I would like to talk now. Both of those sides will take us to paradise, indeed, when both people could enjoy it together; and that’s the essence of making love. It’s beyond just having sex, because it’s more than just two bodies meet together. Amidst the wilderness, it’s two souls that are mating to each other, embracing one another, and finding pleasure together. Just imagine how amazing it would be to find someone who is able to comprehend and counterbalance, more than just complement or fulfill one sided desire. Just so you know, women want to enjoy sex just as much as men.
“Look what you’re doing, look what
you’ve done. But in this jungle you can’t run, ‘cause what I got for you, I
promise it's a killer. You’ll be banging on my chest, bang bang! Gorilla... you
and me baby making love like gorillas.” –Bruno Mars, Gorilla
This one hell of a
sexy song is still coming from Bruno Mars. It’s titled “Gorilla” and was
released on September 10th 2013 as the fourth single taken from the singer’s
second studio album, “Unorthodox Jukebox”. The day before the song’s release as
a single, he performed it live at the VMAs with a laser show and an extra
verse. This track is a midtempo rock and soft rock song
with a power pop hook, written by Mars himself along with Philip Lawrence and
Ari Levine. An official music video, starring Freida Pinto, was directed by Mars himself along with Cameron Buddy. It was released on October 15th 2013. The official remix (G-Mix) of the song features American singers Pharrell
Williams and R. Kelly, and was released in Canada and US on November
12th 2013. Lyrically, though directly talk about sex, it is simply about the
intense moment you lose yourself with the right person; it’s about the thrill
of the chase and the catch. It contains an obvious metaphor of making love with
the right person as making love like gorillas; as human follow the primary animal-like
instinct.

The thing about
making love is that it is the intense moment we lose ourselves with that
person. We’re feeling high, of course, but what really matters is that we can
be with somebody who can bring us the feeling of supremacy. What will be really
meaningful is that we can be with somebody who can make us feel sexy and wanted
and desirable without make us feel insecure about it. “I got a body full of liquor with a cocaine kicker. And I’m feeling
like I’m thirty feet tall, so lay it down. You got your legs up in the sky with
the devil in your eyes. Let me hear you say you want it all, say it now.”
Insecurity is a big issue in sex. There are always fears and concerns regarding
to whether we can satisfy our partner, whether our partner is willing to do
this or that, whether it is alright to explore this or that. How amazing it
would be if we can be with someone who is able to liberate us from all of those
worries. Hence we could actually enjoy it. For making love is a form of human’s
liberation from all that suppress them. It is supposed to be the moment of
freedom.
In terms of sex, some
people like it rough. And believe me, at times women do like it rough just as
much as men. There are some women who even enjoy it more than men when it is
rough and wild. When we like it rough, just imagine how amazing it would be if
we can be with someone who is able to encourage us when we go a little rough
with them. And how wonderful it would be if we can be with somebody who is as
reckless as we are; who doesn’t give a fuck about what’s outside the room. And
how satisfying it would be if we can be with someone who shares the same
interest as us. “I got a fistful of your
hair but you don’t look like you’re scared. You just smile and tell me, ‘Daddy,
it’s yours.’ ‘Cause you know how I like it, you’s a dirty little lover. If the
neighbors call the cops, call the sheriff, call the SWAT, we don’t stop. We
keep rocking while they're knocking on our door. And you’re screaming, ‘Give it
to me baby, give it to me motherfucker!’” Just imagine how fantastic it
would be if we can be with someone who is a willing participant to indulge our
base desires.
When we can finally
be with that person who is able to comprehend and counterbalance us, it would
change our regular night into one of intense sexual activity. And perhaps, that
crazed night would change us into a wild animal, such as gorilla. “Look what you’re doing, look what you’ve
done. But in this jungle you can’t run, ‘cause what I got for you, I promise
it's a killer. You’ll be banging on my chest, bang bang! Gorilla... you and me
baby making love like gorillas.” Having it wild and rough doesn’t make it
less intimate than having it soft and in a soothing way. Moreover, when we meet
the best partner in a way that we share the same interest and desire, then
making love could never be better than that. “I bet you never ever felt so good. I got your body trembling like it
should. You’ll never be the same baby once I’m done with you.” And after
meeting that kind of person, we would never be the same again, since we would
know how it feels to be the closest to heaven; since we would know how amazing
it could be with the right person.

“Gorilla” reveals the
dirty side of making love while “Locked Out Of Heaven” is mostly talking about
the all-beautiful side. However, when it’s dirty then it doesn’t mean that it’s
ugly. Even the ugliest thing must have the beautiful side of it. In this
context, that will happen only when we meet the right partner. And how do we
know when we meet that person? The right person would liberate us. They would
make us feel the freedom to love and be loved and express it through every way.
The right person would comprehend us. They would wash away our fears and
insecurities and turn them into comfort and hope. The right person would
counterbalance us. They would be more than just a complement, but a balancer. They
would be our source of strength instead of being our cause of unconfident. The
right person would be compatible with us in every way. With that person, we
would feel the way we never felt before. With that person, we would discover
things we never knew before. With that person, we would realize what being in
love supposed to be. With that person, we would feel like we’ve been locked out
of heaven all this time before, because they take you to the paradise. With
that person, we would understand that making love could be so amazing, because
we’re so compatible with them, and we’re making love like gorillas.
