Laugh for Love: 7 Heartthrob Comedian Actors on Movies

source: here

There’s one most significant thing from a man’s personality that could attract me the most: sense of humor. Well, of course, it would be great if he’s gorgeous too (but I have to say that everyone has their own personal preference in terms of appearances, as for me, you’ll find out soon in this post). However, gorgeousness only means nothing when a man doesn’t have a sense of humor that is in tune with mine. Because, I believe that one of things that can build love is laugh. Funny guys are not only attractive but also charming. Moreover, they’re not boring at all (and I’m a kind of woman who got bored easily). And as a movie-lover, I’ve been through many genres (most of them are romance comedy and drama comedy) and been being surprised by some actors who are also comedians. Apparently, Hollywood has many talented (and gorgeous) comedian actors around, and some of them have successfully robbed my heart. Therefore, for today’s Male Special Part 2: Ways of Being A Man, I present my list of seven heartthrob comedian actors on movies, who, with all of their wits and charms, never failed to take my heart away.

7. Andy Samberg

Starting up the list on number seven I have Andy Samberg. He was a cast member of “Saturday Night Live” from 2005 until 2012 and won a Golden Globe Award in 2014. I was first falling for Samberg after watching him playing King Joffrey in a musical parody of HBO’s big hit drama series “Game of Thrones” during the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards. He’s hell of a comedian! However, I have to put him on number seven because I’ve seen only a few of his notable performances on movies, and those include my favorite animation film “Hotel Transylvania”. Not only funny, but he also can sing too! Oh, and I have to mention that I love how Samberg can do many celebrity impressions, particularly Nicolas Cage. Though we can’t find him a lot in movies, we surely can find him in many comedy skits, and of course, television series.
Find him on: “Hotel Transylvania”, “Hotel Transylvania 2”, “I Love You, Man”, “What’s Your Number?”, “Friends with Benefits”

6. Ben Stiller

Moving up to number six, here is Ben Stiller. What more can I say about this man? Apparently the comedic blood is running through his veins, since he’s the son of veteran comedian actors couple, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. He’s so great at doing parody! Notably for “The Ben Stiller Show” and some parodies for MTV Movie Awards. I really love him in “There’s Something About Mary” and “Night at the Museum”. In the first one, he was young and gave out the vibe as a man-next-door. While in the latter one, he was already old and brought out the feeling as a nice family man. Ah, and he’s also an Emmy Award winner. Mr. Stiller is totally charming!
Find him on: “There’s Something About Mary”, “Meet the Parents” trilogy, “Tropic Thunder”, “Madagascar” series, “Night at the Museum” trilogy

5. Adam Sandler

Next on number five, here is one and only Adam Sandler. The king of romance comedy has stolen my heart with his numerous characters. He was also an alumnus of “Saturday Night Live” cast members. Fascinatingly, he’s always able to live up his characters into a charming and witty one. The way he interact with other characters in every of his movie is just so natural, really a typical of a man you want to grow old with. Though he always successes in building chemistry with his co-stars (and they’re all beautiful, name it Jennifer Aniston, Salma Hayek, and many more), I personally love every time he’s partnered up with Drew Barrymore, ever since “The Wedding Singer”. Heartwarming and lovely!
Find him on: “The Wedding Singer”, “50 First Dates”, “Blended”, “Just Go With It”, “Hotel Transylvania”, “Hotel Transylvania 2”, “Click”, “Anger Management”, “The Longest Yard”, “Grown Ups”, “Grown Ups 2”

4. Steve Carell

Here we go on number four, I have Steve Carell. What I admire from Mr. Carell is his bravery to take challenge. Not only taking movies on what he’s best at, which is comedy, he’s also taking some serious roles in the way, in which, he nails it. He even earned Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards nominations for his character in “Foxcatcher”. And of course, yeah, though he’s older than my father, I can still see clearly that he’s gorgeous; a handsome old man. Carell was also a member of “Saturday Night Live” from 1996 to 2011. This man is a family man too, and seriously, every girl would like to have him as their father.
Find him on: “The 40 Year-Old Virgin”, “Date Night”, “Despicable Me”, “Despicable Me 2”, “Crazy, Stupid, Love”, “Foxcatcher”

3. Jason Sudeikis

Jason Sudeikis at event of 2011 MTV Movie Awards - source:

Opening up the big three of the list, here is Jason Sudeikis on number three. Sudeikis was a sketch writer and cast member of “Saturday Night Live” before taking his talent to the big screen. My attention towards him was caught at first when I watched him in “We’re the Millers”. He was so adorable in that movie! And of course, the black comedy film “Horrible Bosses” had made me falling for him. At some point I realize that physically, Mr. Sudeikis might not be my type. However, his charming humorous wittiness really got me. It makes him looks cute and gorgeous in all of a sudden. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain. I guess I’m just a weakling before a funny guy.
Find him on: “Hall Pass”, “We’re the Millers”, “Horrible Bosses”, “Horrible Bosses 2”, “Epic”, “Drinking Buddies”

2. Adam Scott

Adam Scott in the "A.C.O.D." movie - source:

Coming at the runner-up position of the list, I have Adam Scott, here on number two. Well, if you have ever seen Mr. Scott, and if you have ever known me quite well, you will clearly understand and can see very well why I’m attracted to this man. He’s cute! And when a girl says that a man who is older than her (in Mr. Scott’s case, a lot older) is cute, it means that she totally likes the man. Yes, I’m falling head over heels for him. This man is totally my type. His cuteness is overload! Believe it or not, this cute guy is actually older than Sudeikis. Well, he doesn’t look like his age, right? I love the way he talks, and the way he makes me laugh. I love his messy hair and unshaved beard. Geez, he’s all that! He got the looks, he’s funny and smart, and he acts well both in comedy and serious drama movies, (check him out in “The Vicious Kind” to see the serious side of him). He never fails to surprise and impress me.
Find him on: “Bachelorette”, “Friends with Kids”, “The Vicious Kind”, “A.C.O.D.”, “Hot Tub Time Machine 2”, “Our Idiot Brother”

1. Paul Rudd

Finally now, on the number one position of the list is the gorgeous, the charming, the adorable, my beloved comedian superhero, Paul Rudd! Mr. Rudd is just perfection. He’s smart, credited as the co-writer for several of his movies. He’s a great actor, notably for his performance in some serious drama movies. He’s witty, notably for being a host of “Saturday Night Live”. He’s funny, and that’s no doubt since he’s a comedian. He’s gorgeous, and that’s obvious. He’s totally a kind of man whom I like to spend my entire life with: a husband material. As far as I concern, he’s the only comedian actor who is casted as Marvel’s superhero character in movie (and he nails it!), which I personally think is a great achievement for a comedian actor. Thus, I dub him as my top-of-mind of heartthrob comedian actor on movies. God, I wish I were given a man like him to be my partner for life; a man with his personality and, of course, if it’s possible, his looks.
Find him on: “Ant-Man”, “Clueless”, “Admission”, “This Is 40”, “Wanderlust”, “Our Idiot Brother”, “Over Her Dead Body”, “The 40 Year-Old Virgin”
