Program acara musik “Immortal Songs 2: Singing the Legend” menayangkan dua episode khusus untuk edisi spesial “Korea’s Beloved Remakes” pada episode 130 dan 131. Edisi spesial ini menampilkan lagu-lagu Korea yang merupakan remake dari lagu asing dan menjadi terkenal di Negeri Ginseng tersebut. Pada bagian kedua dari edisi spesial ini, yaitu episode 131, rocker Kim Bada tampil sebagai penampil terakhir. Episode ini mengudara pada tanggal 14 Desember 2013 di stasiun televisi KBS, serta pada tanggal 4 Januari 2014 di channel KBS World. Kim Bada membawakan sebuah lagu berjudul “Maria”, yang merupakan remake dari sebuah lagu berjudul sama milik band asal Amerika Serikat, Blondie.

Versi original lagu “Maria” dirilis oleh Blondie pada tanggal 1 Februari 1999 sebagai single album. Lagu rock ini kemudian menjadi bagian dari album mereka yang bertajuk “No Exit”. Pada tahun 2006, aktris Kim Ah Joong menyanyikan sebuah remake dari lagu “Maria” sebagai soundtrack untuk filmnya yang berjudul “200 Pounds Beauty”. Seiring dengan popularitas filmnya yang meroket dan mencetak box office di Korea Selatan, theme song film ini pun begitu populer. “Maria” menjadi title song dari album “200 Pounds Beauty Original Sound Track” yang dirilis pada tanggal 13 Desember 2006. Meskipun merupakan lagu remake, lirik “Maria” versi remake tidak berkorelasi dengan lirik versi originalnya.

Baik versi original maupun remake­-nya, “Maria” meraih sukses secara komersial. Versi originalnya meraih peringkat satu di berbagai tangga lagu internasional. Versi remake-nya merupakan lagu yang paling banyak dipilih untuk dinyanyikan di karaoke Korea Selatan pada tahun 2007. Ditambah lagi, lagu ini meraih peringkat pertama selama empat minggu berturut-turut di berbagai tangga lagu di Korea Selatan. Kim Bada, mantan vokalis rock band Sinawe, membawakan “Maria” dengan aransemen rock yang luar biasa. Ia tampil terakhir dan memenangkan trophy “Immortal Songs 2” untuk edisi spesial “Korea’s Beloved Remakes”.
