Love is Always There

Whenever the wind blows, we turn our heads here and there. Just like the reeds, our colors are faded away. We don’t even know one thing, yet we try to learn about two things.” –Sunflower, Love Is Always There [translated lyrics]

The South Korea’s legend of folk music, Sunflower, was appeared as the legend on music program “Immortal Songs 2: Singing the Legend”.
“Love Is Always There” tells about the things that stay the same in love. It’s about a wondering of love and life. Why people were falling in love, and yet turned away from each other when someone made one mistake, and even said their farewell. We tend to try and learn two things when we don’t know a single thing. And we wonder if we still live that way, we thought that our love for that person would stay the same. Well, there are things that will never change in this life after all. One of them is love that we have in deep of our hearts. Even though it may be in different shapes, but the essence is still the same, and it’s always there. Overall, this is a song that makes us wonder and comforts us at the same time.

Yurisangja menampilkan “Love Is Always There”, yang dirilis pertama kali pada tahun 1986 ini, dengan sangat apik. Bahkan sang legenda, Lee Joo Ho sendiri pun memuji penampilan mereka. Featuring one of Korea’s best guitarists, Ham Chun Ho, they showed the essence of analog sound. Their harmony of voices made their performance sweet and refreshing. Hearing them made it feels like as if the stars are falling from the sky. Somehow, the performance gave off a kind of warm feeling. Indeed, the song itself is loved by people because of its romantic and beautiful lyrics. And now, Yurisangja had taken this song to the next level. They continue the emotion and legacy of Sunflower. And yes, they were definitely worth the win.

However, our hearts that have the ability to love is always there. It’s love, our hearts that have the ability to love never changes. It’s love, our hearts that have the ability to love is always there.” –Sunflower, Love Is Always There [translated lyrics]
