Program acara musik “Immortal Songs 2: Singing the Legend” episode 124 kembali menampilkan Yim Jae Bum sebagai legenda, setelah sebelumnya the South Korea’s legendary rocker tersebut tampil sebagai legenda dalam episode 89. Salah satu vokalis utama girl group Ladies’ Code, Sojung, hadir sebagai salah satu penampil yang membawakan ulang lagu hits Yim Jae Bum dalam episode tersebut. Episode tersebut mengudara pada tanggal 26 Oktober 2013 di stasiun televisi KBS, serta pada tanggal 16 November 2013 di channel KBS World. Sojung pada waktu itu membawakan lagu yang bertajuk “Beautiful Misunderstanding”. Meskipun itu adalah pertama kalinya ia tampil dalam program “Immortal Songs 2”, Sojung berhasil membawakan “Beautiful Misunderstanding” dengan penghayatan luar biasa.

“Beautiful Misunderstanding” mengisahkan tentang seseorang yang tengah berusaha memaknai cinta. Lagu ini berisi renungan tentang makna cinta yang sesungguhnya. Renungan yang mewujud dari pengalaman dirinya selama ini atas cinta. Pemaknaan yang mewujud dari kesakitan dan luka yang selama ini hadir atas nama cinta. It starts with a sentence that got me so, “Love is sadness that starts with a misunderstanding that it’s eternal.” Cinta adalah kesalahpahaman yang selalu diawali dengan anggapan bahwa ia abadi. Love is sadness and despair. It’s something you never see coming yet you can’t escape from it. Love is blinding and painful. It’s something that makes you feel like dying yet trap you inside it. Hence indeed, pains are mostly come from too much expectation of love. “I don’t expect anything, I also don’t believe in love anymore. I won’t forget now, I will never be fooled again.” Don’t expect anything from love. Don’t be fooled by love. Love is a dream, and it’s beautiful because you can’t have it. Love is a beautiful misunderstanding because it’s sad.

Sojung ketika membawakan lagu "Beautiful Misunderstanding" pada program "Immortal Songs 2" Episode 124

Dirilis pertama kali pada tanggal 1 Juli 1997, “Beautiful Misunderstanding” merupakan bagian dari album solo Yim Jae Bum yang kedua, “Desire to Fly”. Even though he rarely sang this song on his concerts, Yim Jae Bum’s appealing husky voice and the touching melody made this song popular. Penampilan Sojung memukau para pengisi acara “Immortal Songs 2”, bahkan sang legenda sekalipun. Setelah melihat penampilan Sojung, Yim Jae Bum berkata, “When I recorded this song, I felt like everything was in vain. I remember singing it while feeling like that, so I rarely sang this song on my concerts. It was a surprised to see her delivered the same feeling as I feel back then in such young age.” Meskipun tidak memenangkan satu round pun dalam episode tersebut, Sojung berhasil membuktikan kapasitasnya bahwa ia lebih dari sekadar idol, melainkan a true singer.
