Aktor kawakan sekaligus penyanyi, Kim Min Jong, turut berpartisipasi dalam mengisi jajaran lagu soundtrack serial drama populer “A Gentleman’s Dignity”. Selain turut berperan sebagai Choi Yoon dalam serial drama ini, Min Jong juga membawakan sebuah lagu berjudul “Beautiful Pain”. Lagu ini merupakan remake dari lagu berjudul sama yang dulu pernah ia bawakan semasa masih aktif sebagai penyanyi solo.

“Beautiful Pain” portraits the desperation feeling of someone who’s in pain because of longing for someone they love. Indeed, life is hard, but rather than waiting until the storm passes, some people tend to learning how to dance in the rain. Indeed, love hurts, but some people tend to learning how to enjoy the beautiful pain of it. Because the love is way too deep, they tend to endure it, no matter how hard it will take. They choose to wait, no matter how long it will take. And as the time passes, they get used to the beautiful pain.

Lagu ballad ini dirilis sebagai single “A Gentleman’s Dignity OST Part 7” pada tanggal 22 Juli 2012. Menyusul kemudian pada tanggal 27 Juli 2012, lagu ini menjadi bagian dari album “A Gentleman’s Dignity: Original Soundtrack Album Part 2”. Kim Min Jong’s deep and husky voice brings out the perfect emotion for this sad love song. Vokalnya yang serak nan seksi berpadu apik dengan melodi lagu ini.
