Farewell is Coming

The wind is blowing again. A farewell is coming to me. Although I’m not even get ready yet, but it looks like it’s going to rain. Goodbye, this is the last word, goodbye. Now the love that I was just getting to know is leaving me.” –Kang Min Kyung, Farewell Is Coming (OST. Haeundae Lovers) [translated lyrics]

“Farewell Is Coming” expresses the sad feeling of someone who knows that they have to face a farewell with their beloved ones soon. Somehow, when separation is about to come, people tend to have that kind of feeling beforehand. Some way, they can feel that the person who stands next to them is not the same person they used to know anymore. Time goes so slow since they already know that they separation is coming. It gets so much hurt inside since they hold back their tears. The wind blow feels colder as it’s going to rain. Even though they’re not ready yet, they just hope that the nightmare would pass soon. As the farewell comes closer, the traces of that person grow stronger. Even though they still haven’t let it go yet, the memories already linger on their mind. And now, all that left is goodbye.

Like a fool, it washes over me. This longing comes to me. I still haven’t let you go, but tears of memories are washing over me. Goodbye, this is the last word, goodbye. Now I finally let the love that I was just getting to know go away.” –Kang Min Kyung, Farewell Is Coming (OST. Haeundae Lovers) [translated lyrics]
