Dua pemeran karakter utama dalam serial “Reply 1997”, Seo In Guk dan Jung Eun Ji, berkolaborasi dalam membawakan sebuah lagu soundtrack untuk serial drama yang mereka bintangi tersebut. In Guk dan Eun Ji me-remake sebuah lagu berjudul “All For You”, yang dipopulerkan pada tahun 1990-an oleh grup bernama Cool. Lagu pop dengan medium tempo yang mereka bawakan secara duet ini dirilis sebagai single “Reply 1997 Love Story Part 1” pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2012. Pada tanggal 27 September 2012, “All For You” kemudian menjadi bagian dari special album “Reply 1997 Director’s Edition OST”. In Guk dan Eun Ji menampilkan lagu ini secara live dalam program acara musik Mnet M! Countdown pada tanggal 6 September 2012.

“All For You” tells about someone who could give it all out for their beloved ones. Somehow they have this misery whether they deserve the love. Even though there was not much that they have and could do, would their love still be accepted? Even though there was so much lack that they have, were they the right person for them? But there’s one thing that they believe. Even though they might not be able to give the world, they could promise and guarantee that their loves were meant only for them. Despite of their lack, they would fight for their love up until the end. Even if they couldn’t give them everything, surely they would effort them anything.

Actually, the ‘90s-set drama didn’t have an original soundtrack of its own since a huge aspect of the show’s mood is set with era-specific music, one of its defining characteristics. The show is getting an immense amount of attention and critical praise, not just because it’s taking cable ratings by storm, but because it’s got everybody talking. Therefore, the producers announced the duet OST as a special project to say thank you to the fans of the show. “All For You” merajai berbagai online music site’s charts seperti Gaon, MelOn, Soribada, dan Billboard’s K-Pop Hot 100. Lagu ini bahkan meraih penghargaan sebagai Best Original Soundtrack dalam berbagai ajang populer, yaitu Mnet Asian Music Awards, K-Drama Star Awards, dan Melon Music Awards.
