Separation in the Rain
“Hidden
by the raindrops, you probably couldn’t see my tears. So that your memory could
only remember my wet and smiling face, I have to keep smiling until you turn
your back away from me. I wonder if this pouring rain would wash away the time
we’ve shared together.” –Lee Joon Gi, The Rain (Separation, You Win) [translated lyrics]

terdapat. Dalam album ini terdapat sebuah lagu manis berjudul “The Rain
(Separation, You Win)”.
“The Rain”, or also
titled as ”Separation, You Win”, is a
song as about separation that happened in the rain. That cold separation is remain remains in our mind forever, because that separation has finally won over
our loves, our loves that we even
keep fighting for until the very last time. Relationship was a battlefield between love and loathe, between stay together and to be separated.
On that rainy day, so sad but true, the separation was finally winning. Even in the last time, we put
on a faint smile line, so that the
thing that they would remember forever was our smiling face, neither our tears nor our crying face. The rain on that day successfully hide our
tears, but could it wash away our
memories too? Would we forget about
those pains when the rain stops too? To
say that we love them, to say that we
need them, even those words that we
couldn’t say until the last time has hidden in the rain on that day. No matter how hard we cry or how loud we
scream, those things were hidden by
the rain. No matter what we did, it couldn’t bring them back. In the end, we couldn’t keep our promise to be with them forever, because the separation has won. From then until forever, every time it’s raining, we would remember about that sad separation.
It would haunt forever in the deepest of
our memories.
“The Rain (Separation, You Win)” dirilis dalam dua versi sekaligus, yaitu versi berbahasa
“’I
love you,’ three words that I can’t say anymore from now on. ‘I need you,’
three words that I need no more, but will haunt in my painful memories. There’s
no other in this world who could love you like I did, but my love had grown
cold and silent. Separation, you have won over me.” –Lee Joon Gi, The Rain (Separation, You Win) [translated
