CN Blue, rock band asal Korea Selatan, merilis studio album pertama mereka pada tanggal 21 Maret 2011. Album debut ini bertajuk “First Step”, dengan memasang single berjudul “Intuition” sebagai title track sekaligus promotional song dari album tersebut. Album ini kemudian dirilis ulang dalam format special limited edition pada tanggal 7 April 2011. Sebuah music video (MV) dari lagu “Intuition” dirilis secara perdana pada tanggal yang sama dengan perilisan album “First Step”. CN Blue menampilkan lagu ini dalam comeback stage mereka di berbagai program acara musik, yang dimulai pada tanggal 24 Maret 2011 dalam program Mnet M! Countdown.

This song tells about a boy who won’t let go of his girl. No matter what has happened, no matter how she feels, the boy can’t accept that the girl wants to leave him. Somehow, the boy already has the feeling that the girl will leave him. It all shows through her gestures toward him. The cold stare, excuses words, avoiding eye contact, getting mad easily because of not particular reasons, those things make the boy realizes the situation that she tries to break up with him. But the boy won’t give up easily on her, because he loves her so much and his pride won’t let him to lose her. In the end, he begs her to stay, he begs her to comeback to him, he begs her not to go and break his heart.

“Intuition” membawa CN Blue memperoleh triple crown pertama mereka setelah menempati posisi puncak selama tiga minggu berturut-turut dalam program Mnet M! Countdown dan KBS Music Bank. Lagu ini juga langsung meraih all-kill di berbagai major online music charts Korea Selatan hanya dalam waktu beberapa jam saja setelah perilisannya. “Intuition” ditulis liriknya oleh Han Seong Ho, dengan aransemen musik dari komposer Sei dan Kozi. Lagu pop rock ini membawa perolehan luar biasa bagi sebuah debut album. CN Blue has successfully captured everyone’s attention and heart because of this song.
